[In honor of the Earth holiday centering on love, Freya sends out a little gift around this time.
A small box containing a piece of chocolate will appear on your pillow during the day. When consumed, the chocolate’s magic will lift your mood for a short period of time. It’s accompanied by a note.]
Where love might bring about sorrow, it also welcomes joy.
[ Things have been sort of crazy in Asgard, huh, kid? Between the powers going haywire and the storm and the announcement about Odin... Kieran's remembered to check his messages to see if there was anything from Lilly, but hasn't gone to track her down. When things settle he thinks to check the list of Travelers on the network and is vaguely disappointed when he sees that her name is still there. The little girl is still in the city... probably still without her mama. Probably still without anyone looking after her. He doesn't feel guilty for not dropping in, that's just stupid, but there's something there. Writing it off as anger at the gods for keeping the kid trapped, Kieran sends Lilly a message. He leaves a video in case she doesn't remember his voice. ]
[She's in her room! It looks a bit messier and less clean than it did before, and it's pretty clear that she's still using the corner as a toilet.
Lilly herself is under the bed, the fitted sheet hanging over the edge like a curtain. Upon seeing Kieran, she sticks a hand out and waves her fingers at him.]
[ ...damnit, kid. He gets the feeling that she hasn't ventured out much besides to get food, and squints at the feed to try and see if she's at least bathed. ]
[N o p e. Bathing is not a thing that she does very much.
She turns and points to the wall next to the bed, which is covered in crayon drawings. It's mostly typical six-year-old stuff like stick figures, bare-bones trees, and square houses, but there are a few more unusual things as well: a bunch of grey moths, and in the center of it all, a large patch of harsh black scribbles.]
[Another day passes, another amount of time well spent in entertaining the children, making them forget about the war. The celebrations the two days previous definitely help with the mood, too.
It's already late by the time he finishes making his round of taking each child back to their homes, Freya being the last district he hits today. He is about to take a shortcut through the roofs but stops himself when he notices a little girl wandering around the Welcome Halls. A traveler, he can tell, and a very wary one. Jack can't blame her, of course, just look at her age. He takes a deep breath so his usual anger against the gods doesn't come out now of all moments, and approaches the child slowly, crouching in front of her and using his best Big Brother tone when he speaks.]
[He follows her finger with his eyes, then nods at her.]
You're one of Freya's? Alright. [He usually calls it the 'loveshack' but it's not the right time for that.] Why are you out then? It's pretty late for a child like you.
You're looking for your mama? [Jack isn't liking that woman very much if she lets her child wander alone like this.] She's here in a house too? We could find her with the bracelets.
[It has been some time since Soushi has not checked up on the younger girl that he was requested to keep an eye on. Ever since he was given the mission, Soushi made it his mission to check on her whenever she left and arrived, but never once got closer in contact with her. He knew he should do so, but it was difficult to find a good time as she rarely leaves her room.
But then he was given a grand idea on the perfect way to meet her -- offer her food and make certain she is well-fed. However, there was a problem: he was tall and she was short. He was not certain if she would take too kindly towards a stranger. That's why he decided it might be a good idea to leave the food he had prepared for her in front of her door. She couldn't possibly miss it.
And as he was uncertain over the type of food she might like, he will be bringing white rice, three slices of hamburger with teriyaki sauce, and pieces of boiled potato. It was all being held in a tray.
Placing the item in front of her door, Soushi will carefully leave the items in her door step and knock on her door. For a moment he wondered if he should have added a dessert, but was indecisive over the matter. So indecisive, in fact, that he had forgotten he had knocked her door...]
[Lilly's noticed, though. She'd been napping under the bed when she'd heard the knock, and it doesn't take her long to roll out and scramble over to the door. She doesn't open it right away, though-- instead, she gives it her own answering knock.]
[The return knock from the door will quickly catch his attention, realizing that it was coming from the door before him and not one from another door. There will be silence for a few moments as Soushi decides to kneel down in front of the door while he checked his surroundings. No one was around, then it must have come the door in front of him.
He will reach for the door and offer a light knock in return. Two of them, actually. With some rhythm in them. Just to see what the next reaction will be.]
[Hearing that his knocks were being returned from the inside, Soushi was about to sneak away, realizing there was someone inside. However, the door opened before he had the chance, leaving Soushi staring at the child that was peeking out the door. What does he say at a time like this?]
Good day, little miss. It would seem I've disturbed you. I apologize for that.
[He will raise the tray filled with food and show it to her.]
[Lilly nods. The bracelet had told people to get to the castle and everyone had started running and panicking, so she'd just kind of... followed them. Which is a good thing, because she'd considered just hiding under her bed.
In the castle, the nervous energy had frightened her more than the sight of the flood had (though that had been pretty scary, too!), and so she'd avoided people and stayed out of sight, quietly sneaking around and only coming out into the open when everyone around her was asleep.
Now she's back in Freya's Welcome Hall-- The video shows that she's in her room, which, aside from a badly-cracked window, is largely undamaged. Being on the upper floors of the Hall has its benefits.]
Flllllud.
[She's trying out this new word. It's obviously one she's been hearing a lot lately.]
[That's something, at least. Narcissa's rooms were dampened, but not overly damaged. It had taken some work to get them back in order, though, and she hadn't been particularly pleased about doing it, but shit happens.]
A flood is rather a lot of water, rather fast.
...but you're alright, aren't you?
[The little scrapper intrigues her, if nothing else.]

Have you stayed dry after the flood?
