[The return knock from the door will quickly catch his attention, realizing that it was coming from the door before him and not one from another door. There will be silence for a few moments as Soushi decides to kneel down in front of the door while he checked his surroundings. No one was around, then it must have come the door in front of him.

He will reach for the door and offer a light knock in return. Two of them, actually. With some rhythm in them. Just to see what the next reaction will be.]

[Lilly copies the rhythm, then pulls the door open and peeks out.]

[Hearing that his knocks were being returned from the inside, Soushi was about to sneak away, realizing there was someone inside. However, the door opened before he had the chance, leaving Soushi staring at the child that was peeking out the door. What does he say at a time like this?]

Good day, little miss. It would seem I've disturbed you. I apologize for that.

[He will raise the tray filled with food and show it to her.]

Are you by any chance hungry?

[She opens the door wider, nodding and peering at the food.]

I'm glad to hear it. I was given too much, and did not wish to waste it.

[Realizing just how small the girl was, he could not help wonder if he should carry it inside her room instead of leaving it to her own devices.]

Would you like for me to carry the tray inside your room? It's a bit heavy. I'm uncertain if you will be able to carry it.

[She shakes her head, and gives it a shove, making it slide across the floor a little bit. She can manage.]

[Soushi will offer a small nod and understanding smile.]

I do hope you enjoy your meal, Little Miss. I live two doors from you. [He will point to his own apartment door.] If you are ever in need of my help, no matter when or what, do not hesitate to ask me. [Especially when.] We are neighbors, after all.

[Lilly points a finger at him, her other hand still on the tray.]

Ah! [Oops. Seems like he forgot an important rule of courtesy.] That's right. I forgot to introduce myself.

[A light bow of his head.]

My name is Soushi Miketsukami. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Little Miss. You may refer to me however you find best.

[Then he wonders.]

And you? May I learn your name or would you prefer if I continue to refer to you as "Little Miss"?

[A light chuckle will escape his lips. He keeps forgetting how long his own name was at times.]

"Mike" or "Sou" are better options to use. You may refer to me as either one of them, if you like.

[And offering a bow of his head.]

It's nice to meet you, Lilly-san. One of my very kind and very delightful neighbors. I hope you enjoy your meal. Is there any type of drink you enjoy to drink? I can bring it to you to go along with your meal.

[And with a smile, he will offer a nod.]

Milk, it is. Please wait a moment as I go find some for you. You may enter your room with the food while I am gone. I'll knock at your door once I return.

[And with that Soushi will rise from the ground, a kind smile on his lips as he decides to head back to his home to retrieve the milk as he promised. Since he only lives two doors away, it will not take long for him to return. He isn't certain if the other girl carried her tray back in her door or not until he leaves his apartment and peeks over at hers. Was she still there or gone?]

[While he's gone, Lilly grabs most of the food and brings it into her room, leaving the tray in the hallway. She'll be waiting in the hallway too, next to her closed door.]

[Realizing that she was still there, Soushi will head on over towards the younger girl. Placing a kneel down, he will lower himself to the ground as he offers her a glass of milk with a white and red straw on it.]

Here you go. Please enjoy.

[He will offer the item towards her after he fully kneels down on the ground.]

[Lilly pulls the straw out of the glass and looks at it curiously-- she's never used or even seen one before, and assumes it's something to eat. She gives the end of it a few good chews before deciding that it really isn't very tasty and tossing it onto the tray.]

[Soushi will remain in silence as he watches the younger girl, merely watching her, before turning his attention away without a care in the world. He will take a seat next to her, in silence, as he takes a small juice box out of his pocket. He will begin to remove the plastic straw from the back, remove the wrapper, then place the small item inside the box.

Before he decides to drink from the box, he will turn to her with a smile.]

I hope you don't mind the company. I do not plan on leaving until you're done with the rest of your meal. [Then he decides to explain the reason.] I'll clean and return the tray to its rightful place for you. [A tilt of his head.] Is that fine with you?

[She doesn't respond to anything he's said, because she's really interested in that juicebox. Seriously, what is this sorcery. Is it food? Or no, it's a drink. It's like a little carton. That's awesome.

She reaches out for it, despite the fact that it's clearly his.]

[Watching her getting excited over his juice box will remind him of the way Ayame amazed him with the thought a car actually existed and people used it to travel from one location to another. Or that a box had the ability to give life to moving pictures. He was now entirely certain the young lady is either in a similar position as himself as a young teenager or was from a different time. It was difficult to tell in a city like Asgard.]

[He is literally handing her the juice box without a second thought.]

If you wish to retrieve the juice from this container, then you need to softly sip on this end of this plastic item. [He will point towards the straw as he offers her instruction over it.] Do you like peach? [Because he was drinking that.]

[She shrugs, because she doesn't actually know what "peach" is. At least she knows what the red and white thing was for, though-- this one looks pretty much the same, except smaller.

She takes a few (not so soft) sips, not even caring that a total stranger had just been drinking out of it a few seconds later. Then she gnaws on the corner of the juice box itself.]

[Watching her drinking him juice box has him wondering now because he was expecting her to try and remove the straw or change the direction of it before actually drinking from it. He is beginning to suspect she was definitely in the same situation as he was as a child. The thought actually troubled him, but his expression didn't show it.

Instead he will decide to make a small blade appear from one of his suit sleeves as he holds his free hand out.]

Are you having a difficult time drinking through the straw? [He had a feeling she did.] Do you want me to make it easier to drink the juice?

[She doesn't seem worried or threatened by the appearance of the blade; on the contrary, she reaches for it fearlessly.]

[Watching her reach for the blade will simply have him pull his hand away to give him enough time to return the blade into his sleeve again. A shake of his head will be offered.]

As much as I wish to grant your wish, I'm unable to. [He'll look sad.] It's too dangerous. If you hurt yourself, you'll get sick and it'll make me sad. Do you want to get sick and make a lot of people sad? [He'll be offering her the saddest pair of eyes that he can mustered. There were even tears beginning to form in the corner of his eyes.]
