a note about speech patterns

Lilly doesn't talk much, and when she does, her pronunciation is kind of garbled-- unless the word is very familiar to her and something she has a lot of practice saying, she sounds like a young toddler rather than a six-year-old. I typically don't type out of the notable accents or speech patterns of characters, but I'm going to make an exception here simply because of how little she talks. Normally I'll do dialogue phonetically to articulate precisely how her speech is unclear, rather than just saying "her speech is unclear" in the narrative. If she gets to a point in a thread where she's saying more than a few words at a time, though, I'll adjust accordingly. I figure a few words here and there witten like dis isn't too annoying to deal with, but whole sentences would be a bit much.

That all said, if the typed baby talk really gets your goat and you'd rather I not do it in a thread with you even just every once in a while, please do let me know! I can certainly adjust.
